Re-slate new felt and new battens on 3 houses in a row

We acompleted a comprehensive roofing project on three houses in a row, which involved re-slating the roofs, installing new felt, and fitting new battens. This process began with carefully removing the existing slates to ensure minimal disruption and damage to the underlying structure. Once the old materials are removed, we laid down a fresh layer of high-quality felt to provide waterproofing and protect against the elements. Next, we installed new battens to create a solid framework for the re-slating process. Finally, we carefully replaced the old slates with durable, weather-resistant new slates, ensuring a uniform and aesthetically pleasing finish across all three properties. This upgrade not only enhances the appearance of the homes but also significantly improves their durability and resistance to weather, extending the lifespan of each roof.
